The UK’s canals are home to a wide variety of fish and over the years have gained a reputation for their oftenmysterious carp stocks. With many canals being connected to river systems, the numbers of carp present are ever changing, but there lies the challenge!

In this instalment of TA|Insights, we join old school canal angler, Nick Helleur, as he tackles a stretch steeped in carp angling history. Set deep in the Colne Valley, the winding network of both rivers and canals provide a haven for fish, having produced carp to over 40lb in the past!
