The ultraconnected capital contrasts with the mountains and the calm of the countryside. Aboard the highspeed train, he then explores the rural west towards Tainan, the religious capital of temples before meeting indigenous ethnic groups. Then, aboard the Pingxi Line, he discovers a town where cats outnumber people. He ends his journey aboard the little Alishan train, one of the last highplatform trains in the world, and thus reaches the roof of Taiwan.
