There is a passenger bus from Taipei to Alishan, that is Guoguang Passenger Transport No. 1835. Take National Highway 1, Chiayi Interchange, Chiayi Station, and arrive at Alishan Transfer Station via Provincial Line 18 Alishan Highway. After buying the ticket at Taipei Transfer Station, please Remember to go directly to platform 203 to catch the bus!

1835 has only one round trip a week. It departs from Taipei Transfer Station at 20:45 every Friday night and goes down from Alishan Transfer Station at 11:30 every Saturday morning. The journey takes about 6 hours. The purpose of this flight is to facilitate people to go up to Alishan.
