A nice departure out of London Heathrow airport onboard an Air Canada 777300ER, bound for Vancouver on Friday 7th February 2020.

After departing on RWY 09R, we made a gentle lefthand bank which took us abeam Wembley Stadium, before making another lefthand bank to set us on our way.

The flight itself was actually quite pleasant; the crew kept us well hydrated and were friendly. The food itself was a bit naff, and my IFE screen didn't want to work (the touchscreen had gone and kept selecting things at random without my command...).

Seatbelt signs were on for an hour or so whilst we skirted the northern fringes of Storm Ciara, but in reality there was minimal chop.

In all, a pleasant experience.
