Seven years ago, I took a leap that drastically changed my life – I walked away from a good job to start my own GIS / Cartography "company." I'd like to share with you some of the events that led to that decision, and why I have not once regretted making that decision. I'll share how I believe I have been able to successfully pull off sustaining a oneperson shop and some of the things that could have gone better. Perhaps I'll inspire someone else to take a similar leap or provide reassurance to those that recently have.
