Taking a Picture of PLEIADES From My Backyard...

Follow
AstroBackyard

On Friday night, I took a picture of the beautiful Pleiades star cluster in the constellation Taurus.

The final image includes 91 x 2minute exposures, for a grand total of just over 3 hours.

Capturing broadband deepsky objects from the city can be challenging. However, with careful processing, you can reveal the beautiful natural colors of your object buried beneath the bright sky.
