Tamiya has released a new 1/12 scale motorcycle, so here is a production review.

HONDA DAX125
The kit allows you to build a DAX with a collaborative design with Tamiya, but it is a madetoorder item for a Thai Honda event and will not be sold in Japan.
It's like a “Weathering With You” version of a Honda super Cub 110.
Thai Honda has announced a fun motorcycle in collaboration with Chupa Chups.

About the kit
I made this after making the Tamiya Monkey 125, so I'll compare it with the Monkey.

*Improvements
There are holes in the disc brake rotor.
The seat is made of plastic.
The engine pistons are replicated.

Bad points
The front fender is now divided into two parts.

Tamiya quality just keeps on evolving.

Add details
The important part is where the cables and hoses connect from the front fork to the frame.
Add a hydraulic manifold and cable holder.

It can be assembled in a very Tamiyalike way.

Painting
*Frame
Finisher's chrome silver paint, then clear blue
*Engine
Silver paint, then silver and black mixed and Black permanent marker
Finished with a multiblack wash
*Plated parts
All plating was removed except for the headlights and air filter.
Painted black and Gaia's Premium Mirror Chrome
Coated with waterbased clear to protect the painted surface
