This is a ToolAssisted Speedrun (TAS), which means that this video was made in an emulator with savestates and slowdowns for a theoretically perfect run, for entertainment purpose.

Please note:
this TAS is segmented (there are 39 segments; splices were done between room's transitions);
gm8emulator is able to manipulate RNG seed via RNG calls;
game's executable was modified in order to be able to press jump button every frame without release input (gm8emulator 0.2.0 doesn't support this. Technically, this is possible with "window trick" (press a button, unfocus game's window, release a button, and focus game's window. With that way game won't notice release input));
Solgryn's Phase II orbs' RNG spawning was replaced with exact coordinates for entertainment purposes;
CRT lines at Geezer were removed to improve video quality;
room speed isn't constant;
I aimed for best time in RTA timing, not TAS timing.


Glitches used:

Ceiling Jump: press jump button when kid is close to block's bottom by 1px and closer (kid should have no double jump left). It will make kid do full jump and replenish double jump. Glitch doesn't work when gravity is inverted because player's instance is replaced with "playerv" instance, which doesn't have this trick for some reason.

Save Boost: when room restarts/changes, kid's vertical speed saves between room transition. It can be used to save at midair, land to ground, jump, and restart the room to have 7.7 wSpeed in midair after restarting.

Platform clip: if you have specific vstring, you can clip through platform.

Solgryn Climbing skip: when Solgryn's killed at Phase I, game will replace killBlocks beneath the visible area with objWarpA.
