This video is inspired from the crochet hat Taylor Swift wore to the Chiefs game. Her hat was designed and made by @kutttheknit on Instagram.
I decided to try a loom knit version. Loom knitting is perfect for anyone who cannot needle knit or crochet. Give it a try!

If you would like to try loom knitting this hat, this is what you need:

*41 peg loom (40 or 42 pegs will work too)
*Loom knit tool
*Scissors
*Red #5 yarn
*White #5 yarn

Directions:
Cast on using the wrap and half wrap with white yarn.
Row 1: ewrap 3 pegs purl 2
This is known as the Ribbed Stitch
Knit for 29 rows
Change color to red ( shown in video )

Using the red yarn knit 1 / purl around the loom. When you get to the anchor peg, purl 1, knit 1. **Both rounds count as one row**
Knit for 7 rows

Change yarn to white
Follow the ribbed stitch directions for 8 rows

*NOTE: If you are using a 41 peg loom, the last 6 pegs will be ewrap 3, purl 3
