The old man eyes of our TE72 Corolla is about to get a major facelift with a Zenki front end conversion. The Corolla quad headlights is one of the most iconic front ends ever made and lately finding used parts have been next to impossible. Emily and I take a road trip from Orange CA to Tucson Arizona just to source a complete front end swap for our build. We also make major progress on the 4age with cleaning the pistons in ChemDip before the entire rotating assembly gets dropped off at the machine shop.
Before our road trip, our good friend Cedu brought over some INSANE JDM wheels to help us decide what size to buy for our build.
We tested the following 14inch wheels:
Volk Racing TE37's
SSR MKII
Volk Racing Gram Lights
Advan Racing
and even a set of Toscos.....
You'll have to tune in to find out which wheel we actually ended up buying, I'll give you a hint. We got them new and they aren't any of the ones we tried on the car.
