Do you like this exercise? Let’s give these variations a try:

1.   Instead of using stop, start and continue, other words or phrases can be used. If you think other sentences work better to achieve a goal for the group, you can generate different sentences. For example, “I would like to see more of…” or “I would like to change…” By phrasing differently, different concepts will occur as a result.

2.   Instead of collecting all the pieces of paper and selecting the most common topics, everyone in the team can read their own papers aloud to the group. By doing this, not only the common topics will come to light, but also topics that the majority did not think about. Even a topic only one participant might have written can be very valuable. For example, all participants agree that they would like to continue laughing with each other. However, there is one participant who would rather continue having serious conversations. It can be very valuable to have heard this as well.
