We will use a model to demonstrate a tear of the rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is a group of 4 muscles deep in the shoulder that help stabilize the shoulder and provide motion.
Those 4 muscles include:
1) subscapularis
2) supraspinatus
3) infraspinatus
4) teres minor
Tears can vary widely in size from a small tear involving only part of a single tendon all the way to a complete tear of more than one tendon.
