steel hardening technique which is not taught in school. Make a sharp spiral TAP

Warning: This screw tap is only used to clean and repair dirty and deformed nuts, not intended for very hard dead iron.
I made this diy left screw hand tap to make nuts on spare parts for tie rods on trucks, which often experience damage to the nuts, so I made a DIY hand tap to speed up repairs and for the hand tap I did hardening to make it stronger and more durable.And in this technique I use salt water as a cooling medium, hardening the steel.
