On MLK day my partner and I took a trip out to Bakersfield to film trains along the Mojave Subdivision and to help patch some holes in a major project I'm working on in regards to the hill (that's coming out soonish!), and what a day it was! Tehachapi is easily my favorite place to railfan bar none and that day was no exception, with tons of interesting and unique locations, trains, and much more! Specific trains include the Monolith Local working the Monolith cement plant, newly rebuilt AC44CM's leading trains on the UP, local switching at Bakersfield, meets on the Loop, and much more!
