On March 27, 1977, a thick fog suddenly invaded Los Rodeos airport in Tenerife. The captain of a Dutch Boeing 747, however, decided to take off with reduced visibility and without knowing that another 747 was still occupying the runway. The collision is inevitable and the toll is heavy: 583 m0✝s... and 64 survivors.
