It was frustrating being in this marriage in the beginning. Steph didn’t grow up with a father so she felt she was independent. Carlos grew up in a Christian household but he still fell into rebellion. They were ready to give up. The whole time they had their problems, they would still come to church. In church they acted like this happy couple but once they left the church, they were two completely different people. Carlos saw his kids and said that he couldn’t leave. He went to his mentors and his mentors told him to go to morning prayers. Carlos went to morning prayer and started praying to God. He started seeing the change in himself and then he started seeing the change in his family. After 11 years of fighting for their marriage, God released His favor and restored in less than a month!
Now they are both happily growing in their marriage, continuing to build their families and faithfully serving God!
