For the last two weeks, I have had the active balancers connected to two of my three battery banks nonstop, 24/7. One battery bank had no active balancer connected.
Now, we're fully charging the battery again and I wanted to see if the battery banks were still nicely top balanced. Also, what is the difference between the banks with and without balancer connected?
I always said, don't leave your balancers connected all the time because they will create an imbalance in the pack!
So, should you leave it connected or not? I made the test. The result is interesting and also pretty clear.
