In this video, we're testing ANCEL X7, one of the best OBD2 scanners in 2024.

The Ancel X7 stands out as a remarkable product packed with powerful features.

Given its reasonable price, we weren't expecting too much when we made the purchase. However, the Ancel X7 pleasantly surprised us by surpassing our expectations with its impressive capabilities.

Typically, Bluetooth scanners under $500 can be sluggish, but that's not the case with the Ancel X7. It handles all its functions well. While not lightningfast, it's certainly not as slow as we had feared.

We also put the Ancel X7 through its paces with active tests. Experimenting with turning the courtesy lamps on and off in the Light tests section, the lamps responded smoothly.

Now, let's discuss what we're not too thrilled about with the X7 – the bulky VCI. You can gauge its size from the photo above. Frankly, we've never come across such a large dongle before. We believe more compact VCIs would be much more convenient.
