Kyle and I were planning to do a one night backpacking trip this past weekend, but right as we were about to leave the house, my mom called and said my little sister was going into labor and baby Layla was coming! So we cancelled the trip, and I headed to the hospital. I am happy to say she delivered a very healthy, very beautiful baby girl.

And because I had everything all packed up, I decided to bring my pack with me and see if my mom wanted to do a tent test run in the back yard. I tried out the Big Agnes Tigerwall UL2, and my mom finally got to try out her Durston XMid 1.

Lots of condensation and frost again, but much more gear testing is needed to nail down the perfect gear load out before we take on a big trail.
