The 1000 Year Reign | Revelation 20:1-10

God is often very hard to see. And though the Bible says that we have all the evidence that we need to believe in Jesus, many people say that they would follow God if they had absolute proof of His existence. But we have many examples in Scripture of people who saw God face to face or walked with Him shoulder to shoulder and still denied Him or chose not to follow Him. A time is coming when Jesus will rule on Earth for 1,000 years. And at the end of those thousand years, after something like 50 generations of people living under the perfect rule of our Perfect God, many will rise up and try to make war against Him. God gives you the choice to believe in Him. Even 1,000 years is not enough to MAKE you believe if you don’t want to.

Family Time Questions:
What will happen during the 1,000year reign of Jesus on earth?
If everyone had absolute proof of God’s existence, would everyone follow God?
Why might some people still choose not to follow God even with clear evidence?
Why do you think God gives us the choice to follow Him?

Family Time Prayer:

"Dear God, thank you for giving us the freedom to choose and for your patience with us. Help us to trust and follow you, even when we can't see everything clearly. In Jesus' name, Amen."
