Well today May 16th 2024 is the start of some work on the Oliver 1850. I acquired a wide front for the 1850 yesterday and now its time to put it under it. With it being to wet to work ground and rain tonight tomorrow and Saturday its the perfect time to get this done. I love the narrow front as it makes the tractor very nimble but the big draw back is a narrow front on a bigger tractor in soft ground can really make a mess quick. So a wide front in my ground for what I'm doing just make more sense and the added weight will make it more stable with 3 pt equipment on the back. I had hope not to take the radiator off but after getting things apart I realized it had to come off as well as the fan blade. I tried to take the oil cooler lines off but they will not budge at all and I really dont want to do any damage to them so I'm just going to have to work around them and try to get this done. I got a lot done this afternoon after running for parts this morning for some other things I have to fix. Who knows maybe the 1850 will be sitting on a wide front tomorrow night so we will see what I get done tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed watching. Bandit
