Momotaro is one of the most wellrespected denim brands in existence today. This is the brand that gets the nod of approval from even the biggest denim snobs, yet keep some models relatively affordable. The name Momotaro comes from Japanese folklore, and is the story of a boy who’s born from a giant peach, then comes to earth as the son of an elderly couple. He revives their sense of youth and encourages them to follow their dreams. Momotaro began in 2005 and is actually a sub brand of Japan Blue Company. There are a few different labels that Momotaro uses with different price points and features such as the Copper Label, the Vintage Label, Gold Label, and the Battle Label which we’ll be looking at today.
