In this stage, you live deeply within your ego, fully identifying with your thoughts and emotions. Life feels reactive, with traumas shaping your narrative, and interactions are dominated by projections and insecurities. An example of this is a colleague who saw me as a threat, driven by his own unfounded fears.

Stage Two: The Shattering of the Ego

Ego death is a profound dissolution of the self. For me, it meant erasing my identity and realizing my ego was an illusion. This stage creates a gap between the ego and the Observer self, leading to a deeper engagement with life free from egoic distortions.

Stage Three: The Search

This phase is marked by a restless quest for truth. Following ego death, I sought to reconstruct my understanding of self, consuming spiritual texts and seeking wisdom from various sources. This stage brings moments of ecstatic clarity and profound connection.

Stage Four: Emergence of the Authentic Self

Your true self, untainted by societal conditioning, begins to emerge. For me, this meant leaving my university teaching job and experiencing significant life changes. This stage involves purging old wounds and welcoming new energy, sharpening intuitive abilities, and experiencing multidimensional phenomena.

Stage Five: Life of Alignment

In the final stage, you live in harmony with the universe. Compassion becomes second nature, and you forgive your own limitations and those of others. You feel a deep connection with all existence, living with an integrated soul, mind, and body. This stage brings a heightened connection to the spiritual realm and a compassionate understanding of life’s light and dark aspects.
