During lockdown, the Hodgson family received devastating news that 8yearold Evie was suffering from a rare blood disorder known as aplastic anaemia. After being told she would need a stem cell transplant in order to survive, the family were delighted to find a matching donor. But after they pulled out, the Hodgson family are back to square one. Today, Evie and her mum Tina are joining us alongside Dr Ranj to tell their story, and reiterate the importance of signing up to become a stem cell donor.
