Much like many other shows before it, The Acolyte has lost a big part of its blind supporters, simply by being the boring story that it is.
At one point you cant defend the indefensible, and with Grace Randolph calling this episode bad, is just a sign for what the finale will bring.
The Acolyte will not get renew for a season 2, with some of the worst ratings ever for a Disney Star Wars project. It would be crazy to give Leslye Headland another hundred million dollars just to destroy everything that decades of actual talented individuals actually managed to build with this Franchise.
