The Air Arms S200 and the Lancet Mk9 regulator - A work in progress

Here's a look at the Air Arms S200 and the struggle to get it tuned. Initially fitted with an Altaros internal regulator I decided to fit an external Robert Lane Lancet Mk9 regulator to see how that performed. The video takes place over a four day period. The process of regulating any PCP is time consuming to get the rifle to where you want it, and is a fine balance between regulator pressure, exhaust valve and hammer spring tension and transfer port size adjustments. All these need to be balanced between each other to get the end result. This video is not the completed result, but rather a work in progress and what you need to be aware of when doing a regulator installation on a PCP. Some are easier than others to work with, but it certainly requires more than just fitting a regulator and away you go.
