I return to the mountains of Utah to ride with the only production S22 on the west coast that I'm aware of at the time. I wanted to put the S22 and Master (50e) head to head on an amazing ride in the mountains. We compare voltage throughout the ride and I make some first glance comparisons of the two wheels.
Here are the percentages of each wheel at the spots mentioned. These calcs are based off a Master min voltage of 106 and a S22 min voltage of 99. Remember the rider weight was different by about 20 lbs.
2:20 11.5 miles: Master 79%, S22 77%
4:30 19.7 miles: Master 56%, S22 48%
12:05 35.5 miles: Master 51%, S22 41%
13:12 41.5 miles: Master 44%, S22 33%
