The American Dream: Why Life Quality in The U.S. is Bad?

The US is not the richest country in the world any more. Now several European countries have higher GDP per capita incomes. The World Bank data tell us that the per capita income of the US in 2022 was $75,180. There were 6 countries with higher per capita income in US dollar terms – starting with Luxembourg ($127,673) at the top, through Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, Qatar and ending with Singapore ($79,426).

We take a critical look at some of the challenges and issues that people in the United States face, and explore why life in the US may be difficult for some. From rising inequality and economic insecurity, to issues with healthcare, education, and social justice, there are many factors that contribute to the perception that life in the US is not all it's cracked up to be.
