The pharmacy doctor Juan Fernández Cruz had developed his professional activity in the town of Zuheros (Córdoba). In 2005 we were able to remember with him the times in which the mortar and pestle played an important role in the back shop, because before the industrialization of pharmacology, the active ingredients prescribed by the doctor were amalgamated by the apothecary.
