Happy 2023 everyone!

This was our last trip of 2022 and has been on our bucket list ever since we started backpacking 6 years ago. If you know us at all you know that the Pisgah National Forest is very special to us and to have finally been able to complete this trail that runs its entire length, was a dream come true.

Details:
We did this trail from north end (Daniel Boone campground) to south end (Davidson River Campground) and we traversed over three nights, four days.

We used https://mountainhighshuttles.com/ as our shuttle service and left the car at the south bound camp. Joel, our driver was very knowledgeable about the trail and the forest and it was great chatting with him! We highly recommend his services. @mountainhighshuttles on Instagram as well.
