Rocket Lab Rutherford Engine Explained.
Rutherford is a liquidpropellant rocket engine designed by aerospace company Rocket Lab. Rocket Lab developed the Rutherford engine specifically for the Electron launch vehicle, and it is capable of 4,600 poundsforce of thrust. It uses LOX (liquid oxygen) and RP1 (refined kerosene) as its propellants and is the first flightready engine to use the electricpump feed cycle.
This video discusses the engineering aspects of the Rutherford engine.
