“For as the waters fill the sea, the earth (OAU) will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord.”
Habakkuk 2:14 NLT
* The Lord gave me this word yesterday morning, concerning the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) “This University will be filled with an awareness of the glory of God.”
* The Lord began to speak to me on what a revival truly is and what He has ahead for this generation on this campus.
* A Revival is simply, AN AWARENESS OF THE GLORY OF THE LORD.
* When a people become more aware of what has always been then such a people are in a revival
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV
“And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
Genesis 28:1617 KJV
* It is possible for the Glory of God to be present and a people not aware of it.
* God could be in the midst of a people, a campus, a generation, and there is no idea of the awareness of His Presence
* God is always in the midst of His People, in fact, He promised that He’ll never leave us nor forsake and He will be with us always Zeph. 3:17 Heb. 13:5/ Matt. 28:20
* In our quest for Revival, our desire should be to become more aware of His Glory.
* That’s why a person is marked with fire in the same meeting that another is asleep and therefore not aware of anything happening
“And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.”

* So, we see in the case of Jacob that the Glory of God was present but he knew it not. Also, in the case of Peter, James, and John, the Glory of God was present but they knew it not.
* In both cases, they were awakened or they became aware of the Glory of God.
* The heart cry of a generation is to simply become more aware of the Glory of the Lord.
* When a people become more aware of the Glory of God, it will be reflective in the following areas;
1. ACTIONS
* When we become aware of the Glory of God, the things we say and do are altered.
* Our actions reveal our awareness of the Glory of God.
2. REACTIONS (Hebrews 12:12)
* When we become aware of His Glory we begin to react against sins and weights.
* Our standards are not lowered but enhanced.
* Our appetite for sin, and unrighteousness is lost.
* Our appetite for holiness, and righteousness is enhanced.
* There are things you will begin to react against to when you become more aware of His Glory.
3. EXPECTATIONS (Proverbs 23:18)
* When a people become more aware of His Glory, their expectations shift.
* When a people become more aware of His Glory, they begin to expect Great things because they suddenly realize that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above more than they can ask or think Eph. 3:20
* “Attempt great things for God. Expect great things from God.”
4. MANIFESTATIONS (Rom. 8:19)
* When people become more aware of the glory of God, they manifest their sonship.
* While we await the corporate awareness of the Glory of God, a personal awareness of the Glory of God will mark you and set you apart.
