You've heard of the Ten Commandments—but do you know what five precepts the Catholic Church says you must observe to be considered a faithful Catholic?
Today, Fr. MarkMary is joined by Br. Michelangelo to discuss the Five Precepts of the Catholic Church, often called the Commandments of the Church or the "bare bones of the Christian life."
— Five Precepts of the Catholic Church —
1. You shall attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation.
2. You shall confess your sins at least once a year.
3. You shall humbly receive Holy Communion at least during the Easter season.
4. You shall keep holy the holy days of obligation.
5. You shall observe the prescribed days of fasting and abstinence.
