The Basics - Squad Leader In-Depth Guide pt. 1 (B19)

UPDATE:

Updated information for B19:

3:58 Ticket bleed has returned. It is very mild, but can still play a role in the match if one team controls a majority of the flags for too long. Ticket bleed does not apply to the midpoint on maps with odd numbers of objectives. Ticket bleed will apply when you capture at least one objective on the enemy's side of the flag lattice. For each objective captured, the enemy team will lose 1 ticket per minute. The mercy bleed still applies. Bear in mind, you have to hold an enemy objective for an hour to increase the ticket difference as much as you did with the initial capture. If your team is bleeding tickets, it will be displayed on the UI.

4:42 On RAAS, fog of war has been introduced. You can only see one objective beyond your furthest captured objective at any point. This opens up a whole new can of worms when it comes to strategy and meta, which will be discussed in my next video. It's also very applicable to double neutrals, as in this situation shown here, if you are the attacking squad, you will not be able to see the flag you're holding from the enemy. It will vanish off of the map the moment they neutralize yours. This does not mean that you are not still holding the objective. It just makes it more difficult than it already was. You should still try to hold that objective for as long as possible, just make sure you're keeping a close eye on your defensive objective to see if it starts being captured by the enemy. That will be your tell that they captured the objective you're on top of without you knowing it and you need to relocate immediately.

19:20 Insurgents can now place two HABs per FOB.

19:32 FOB placement is now done with one person within 8 meters of you and a logi truck within 30 meters. The logi does not have to be manned. Dumping supplies is also now done through the radial T menu and can be done from inside or outside of the logi.

28:59 Fireteam Leaders can no longer use their markers as rangefinders.
