Having spent a night at Hannah's Place near Paliton Beach, I moved across the road to The Bruce resort where I paid 1200 pesos (with 20% senior discount!) for a cottage with a seaview. The resort also has a swimming pool and is situated on the fine, white sandy Solangon Beach. Solangon beach is a beautiful stretch of coastline that is around 2km long. Their restaurant uses Starlink internet so is pretty speedy as mobile data coverage in this area of Siquijor is not great.
