Cinnamons gained national attention, and in Chicago alone, there were already a dozen specialty cinnamon roll shops. With the rise of America's appetite for cinnamon rolls, how did a small momandpop called Ann Sather withstand the intense competition and test of time? We visited the original restaurant in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood to get a closer look at how the iconic cinnamon rolls are made and learn why they are so loved by the local community.
