One of the purest salts in Mexico is produced in Colima.

Due to its privileged geographical and climatological conditions, as well as the union of the water of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean, an unparalleled salt is born: Cuyutlán salt.

We visited Colima during the salt harvest to appreciate its production and extraction process.

The Cuyutlán salt flats are located in the municipality of Armería, just 45 minutes from the Port of Manzanillo.
