Description: I've always thought the circa19721975 SG Standards are some of the nicest ones on the market. They aren't as desirable as the 60s offerings, so it keeps the price down, all the while giving you a lot of "vintage" bang for your buck. The unbound ebony fretboard ones are my favorite but I picked up this 1972 because of the unique Gibson embossed pickups that you don't normally see on Tarback pickups. I was dumbfounded when I plugged this SG in it sounds like no other one from this era I've played before. I initially thought this was just a buyreviewmove on type of guitar, but I think I'm going to hold on to this special one for my kids to play.
