Focusing on your project, your power tools, and the task at hand while also dealing with power cords ands vacuum hoses can be a real chore inside any woodshop. It can cause multiple problems while you're trying to simply work. Today I will be designing and building a custom, dualaction shop accessory arm to help with the management of my vacuum hose. This is a great addition to any small woodshop and I encourage you to truly think about adding this feature to your own shop. You can easily add in additional features like an overhead extension cord. These features will add a tremendous amount of versatility to the use of routers, sanders, and many other tools with built in vacuum ports for duct collection.
