Have you gotten or are you looking to get into sim racing in virtual reality? VR headsets are becoming more and more popular. It’s either a recommended experience or something to avoid, depending on who you speak to about it. Either way, it’s an exciting medium that’s on the rise in sim racing, video games and esports alike.

Our Ross McGregor and John Munro have gone through the trouble of testing out some of our favorite racing games and simulators to see which ones are worth setting up to play in VR, as well as which ones need some work to get up to snuff. We also have some suggestions for titles that might work well with an added VR experience.

There are six games on this list that we absolutely recommend playing in VR if you get a chance to. Spoiler alert not every game works well in VR, some don’t even work at all, or on every medium that they are available like F1 22, but some experiences might be elevated depending on things like your setup and comfort with the headsets.
