Opening Night: "The Bikeriders" Movie Review & History of Outlaw Motorcycle Culture

Theaters aren’t as popular as they once were, but tonight, the crowd is larger than usual as bikers and enthusiasts gather for the premiere of "The Bikeriders."

I've been eagerly anticipating this movie since I heard about it last year. It's been a long time since we've had a good biker film, and there's nothing like seeing a bunch of motorcycles together, whether in person or on screen. Every time you see the club riding and hear the rumble of the engines, it’s amazing.

About "The Bikeriders":
Based on a photography book and interviews by Danny Lyons, who lived with the Outlaws motorcycle club.
Set from the early 60s to the early 70s.
Written and directed by Jeff Nichols, who created a storyline based on Lyons' observations.
A raw and gritty portrayal of life within a motorcycle club, showcasing the culture, camaraderie, and chaos that define the biker lifestyle.
Inspired by Danny Lyon's book capturing the lives of the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club.
Pays homage to the reallife history and culture of motorcycle clubs, including rivalries and the evolution of club patches and identities.
