Beginning in Helena, Montanas state capitel, Mullan Pass is climbing in the mountains. Trains with many locos, fight against gravity to get their heavy trains throgh the tight curves up the pass.
The get help from the manned Montana Rail Link helper engines. At top of the pass is Mullan tunnel located, a 3300ft bore through the mountain. This tunnel is the birthplace for the black fog of Blossburg.
