As part of their "world tour" promoting the Panorama album, The Cars played six shows in Japan; this is their third, recorded on November 1, 1980, at Shibuya Kokaido in Tokyo. By all accounts, the band loved being in Japan, and several of the members developed a deep appreciation for the country's art and culture.
