Inside the Columbarium of PèreLachaise cemetary in Paris, France, are walls which conceal the ashes of those who were cremated there. As in the cemetary proper the Columbarium plays host to many famous individuals, including

Jean Moulin, Maria Callas, Isadora Duncan and Stephane Grappelli.

That Crematorium was the first one built in France from 1887 to 1908.

This Columbarium is beautiful and the first of its kind I have visited. Climbing the stairs to the second level I got scared but I did overcome this and eventually climbed the stairs again.
