This is the first of a series of videos featuring some of the models built by the late Mr Hilton Azzie.
I unfortunately never met Mr. Hilton but the people who knew him will tell you what an incredible builder he was.
This video is about the Cowboy.
It was a Craft Air product and designed by Tom Williams.
You could build this model with a flatbottom airfoil wing or a semisymmetrical aerobic wing design.
I have the original box and plans and the plane built from it which is a 40 size with a wingspan of 1.45 m.

The model in this video is an enlarged version that was built by blowing up the plans to a version with a wingspan of 2.1 m and powered by an OS 91 fx engine.

This plane was not flown for a while and I had to replace the bearings and Orings.
This engine started with the first flick and ran flawlessly.

On the Maiden, I only had to trim down three clicks and that was it.
This is one of the most stable trainertype models I have ever flown and is ideal for those late afternoon relaxing flights just doing touchandgo’s and just floating around.

This is more than just a trainer. It is an amazing stable relaxing model and I can not wait to fly it again.
