Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been getting a lot of DLC in the form of the booster course pass. While they had originally only announced new tracks would come with it, Nintendo recently added a new option alongside it to allow for custom items. That got me thinking, could Nintendo possibly secret drop characters in an update in the future? That then got me thinking about the characters in previous mario kart games that have been forgotten and cut from mario kart 8 deluxe. So today I look at super mario kart, mario kart double dash, mario kart ds, mario kart wii, mario kart 7, mario kart arcade, and mario kart tour to see what characters are in their rosters and who could maybe return in an update for mario kart 8 or just in a future mario kart in general.
