The mostly complete family tree of companies that now forms the modern version of Delta Airlines. Depending how you on how you count them, about 32 different corporations make up what is now Delta Airlines.

Thanks to the usual sources of pictures, aka Airliners.net and Flickr, along with a few other sources of the real hard to find pictures of serving aircraft. And a REALLY big thank you for Delta Airlines History Museum for doing all the research and putting out histories of Western, Northeastern, Northwestern and Pan Am. That helped a lot in finding dates and in some cases were the only source of pictures of specific aircraft. I couldn't have made this video without them. The family tree seen in the thumbnail is their work too. it helps keep things straight, which nearly became an issue a few times, and I would nearly put a fewearly companies in the wrong branch of tree.
