The Descenders of Teyvat: The Unchanging Historians of Genshin Impact [3.2 SPOILERS]

SPOILER ALERT! At the end of the Archon Quest, Chapter III, Act V: “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises,” Nahida spills the tea and leaks us some intel. We learn a lot of lore, including information about Descenders, or beings not from or of this world. There are four, and the first (she assumes) is the Heavenly Principles, and Traveller is the fourth. The second and third are unknown.

Here I postulate that the Heavenly Principles are the Second Throne, not the Primordial One or Phanes, and why that's important to the Fatui's goals. I speculate on who the other two might be, including the outlander who fell in love with a seelie, Imunlaukr, Alice, Hexenzirkel and Rhinedottir??, and the author of Vera’s Melancholy. I still can’t answer why the Abyss Sibling isn’t a Descender. But I have a feeling about why the Fatui are taking note of Descenders, and why it’s important to the false sky and the truth hidden by Irminsul. Spoiler: Celestia wants to erase history and the Descenders are the few who can be like “nah," and the "false sky" is a code term / double entendre to avoid the attention of the gods.

I also somehow managed to avoid alien jokes, and I think this is my first video in ages that doesn’t mention Pierro (don’t worry, he still makes an appearance). So, so much Genshin Lore and Speculation.
