In our continuing study of mythology, specifically the Supreme Being archetype, we look at our last two "masks of God" the dying god and the trickster. The dying god is found all over the world from Jesus to Osiris to Corn Mother and their death always generates new life. Likewise, everywhere you look in world mythology there are trickster gods dangerous, deceitful clowns (think Loki) who wreck everything just for fun. What's behind these masks of God? Let's find out.
