Here is yet another of the original Demo tapes from the band that would become King's X. This is labeled "4 song demo 1981", no way to tell if that is 100% accurate but it is reasonable given the time frame of the band (could be '82 but... who knows, maybe the band can remember... or not) They were a semi popular local act in an active Springfield MO rock scene as "The Edge". Of course they later changed their name in 83 to "Sneak Preview" (yech).

The 2 "repeated" songs here from the other demos are definitely a different recording session (you can hear the difference). Also note the "almost" King's X like vocals in "The Edge"... so the bones were there I think even buried beneath some of the obvious influences of the time.
